What's included

Everything in one flat fee.

01

SA1 registration filed with HMRC

Full self-assessment registration prepared and filed as your agent — with the correct reason code so HMRC doesn't bounce it back.

02

10-digit UTR issued

Your unique taxpayer reference is posted by HMRC to your registered address, plus emailed to you as soon as it lands.

03

For directors, landlords & self-employed

Whether you're a Ltd director drawing dividends, a landlord earning rent or newly self-employed, we register you under the right SA reason.

04

Non-UK resident support

Overseas directors with UK-source income need a UTR too. We handle non-resident SA1 files with the correct HMRC address and paperwork.

05

HMRC agent authorisation

Optional — we can become your SA agent so future returns, coding notices and correspondence route through us.

06

Deadline safety

Register late and HMRC apply penalties even before you file a return. We register you inside the safe window and share a clear filing calendar.

How it works

Four steps, zero fuss.

  1. 01

    Tell us the basics

Name, date of birth, National Insurance number if you have one, UK address for HMRC post, and your source of income.

  2. 02

    Fixed £49 fee

    One-time, no add-ons. Non-resident applications are the same £49.

  3. 03

    SA1 filed

We submit your registration to HMRC the same working day.

  4. 04

    UTR delivered

HMRC issue your 10-digit UTR within 10 working days — we chase weekly if it slips.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Who needs a UTR?+

Anyone with UK income that isn't already fully taxed at source — company directors drawing dividends, self-employed sole traders, landlords, contractors, and non-residents with UK-source income.

How long does HMRC take?+

Standard turnaround is 10 working days for UK residents and 4–6 weeks for non-residents. We chase HMRC weekly if your case runs over.

Do I need a National Insurance number first?+

Ideal but not mandatory. HMRC can register you for self assessment without an NI number — we complete the alternative-ID section of the SA1 correctly.

Is a UTR the same as a VAT or PAYE number?+

No. UTR is your personal or company self-assessment reference. VAT and PAYE are separate registrations — we can bundle any combination.

Can I use this for a Ltd company?+

A Ltd company gets its own corporation-tax UTR automatically at incorporation. This service is the personal SA UTR that directors need for dividend and untaxed-income declarations.
