Privacy at Bizvee

We help people incorporate companies, which means we handle identity documents, addresses and financial details. This page explains — in plain language — exactly what we collect, why, who sees it, and how you take it back.

01Who we are

Bizvee provides company formation, registered agent, business mail, bookkeeping, tax filing and document print-and-ship services for founders operating across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and other supported jurisdictions.

When you buy a service from us, Bizvee acts as the controller of your personal data. When we file on your behalf with a government registry, bank or partner professional, we pass on only the data that filing legally requires.

02Information we collect

We keep collection deliberately narrow. In practice it falls into five buckets:

  • Account data — name, email, password hash, phone number and communication preferences.
  • Company data — proposed company names, entity type, jurisdiction, ownership percentages, director and shareholder details, and business activity descriptions.
  • Verification data — passport or ID scans, proof of address and tax identifiers, collected only where a registry, bank or anti-money-laundering rule requires them.
  • Financial data — invoices, order history and payment status. Card numbers are captured and stored by our payment processors; Bizvee never stores full card details.
  • Product data — pages visited, features used, support tickets and device/browser information used to keep the platform secure and fast.

03Why we use it

Every use has a purpose tied to a service you asked for or an obligation we carry.

  • To perform your order: prepare and submit filings, obtain EINs and tax numbers, appoint registered agents and issue suite-numbered mail addresses.
  • To meet legal duties: identity verification, sanctions screening, record retention and responding to lawful requests from registries or authorities.
  • To operate the account: invoices, receipts, renewal reminders, compliance deadlines and status updates on your orders.
  • To improve the product: aggregated usage analysis, debugging and fraud prevention.
  • To market — only where you opted in. Every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects service notifications.

04Mail, scans and your address services

If you use a Bizvee registered agent or mailbox address, we receive physical mail addressed to your company. We scan the exterior and, where you have instructed us to, the contents, then store those scans in a private, access-controlled bucket visible only to you and the staff processing your account.

We do not read, sell, profile or share the contents of your mail. Scans are retained for as long as your address plan is active and for a statutory period afterwards, then deleted.

05Who we share it with

We share data only with parties that make your order happen, and only to the extent needed:

  • Government registries and tax authorities in the jurisdiction you are filing in.
  • Registered agents, accountants, attorneys and agencies engaged for your specific order.
  • Infrastructure and processing vendors — hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing and document shipping.
  • Acquirers or successors, if Bizvee is ever involved in a merger or sale, under the same protections described here.

06International transfers

Because our work is cross-border by nature, your data may be processed in a country other than your own — typically the jurisdiction of incorporation you selected and the regions where our infrastructure runs. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with the receiving party.

07How long we keep it

Formation and filing records are kept for a minimum of seven years, because corporate and tax law in most of our jurisdictions requires it. Identity verification documents follow the retention period set by the applicable anti-money-laundering rules. Marketing preferences and analytics data are kept for a much shorter window, and support tickets are pruned once they are no longer useful.

Closing your Bizvee account stops future processing, but it does not erase records we are legally required to hold.

08Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. We honour them for every customer regardless of location, unless the law forces us to keep something.

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate — most fields are editable directly in your dashboard.
  • Request deletion of data we are not obliged to retain.
  • Object to or restrict processing, including profiling for marketing.
  • Export your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where consent was the basis for processing.

09Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside Bizvee is role-based and logged: a staff member assigned to your order sees your order, not the whole customer base. Document buckets are private by default and served through short-lived signed links.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator within the timeframes the law requires, with what happened and what to do next.

10Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to protect the checkout, plus a small number of analytics cookies to understand which pages help founders and which do not. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to any paid service.

11Children

Bizvee is a business tool sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.

12Changes to this policy

When we change something material, we update the date at the top of this page and email active customers before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Bizvee after that date means you accept the revised policy.
