What does $475 cover?+
The flat $475 covers our professional fee AND the Hong Kong Trade Marks Registry government filing fee for one class. Each additional class is $200, which also includes that class's government fee.
How long does registration take?+
Uncontested applications typically register in 6–9 months from filing. That includes the mandatory 3-month opposition window that starts once your mark is published in the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Journal.
What if someone opposes my mark?+
Opposition proceedings are outside the flat fee — we quote separately based on the grounds and complexity. Our clearance search is designed to catch likely conflicts before you spend on filing.
Can non-residents file a Hong Kong trademark?+
Yes. You do not need to be based in Hong Kong to register a Hong Kong trademark. We act as your Hong Kong address for service throughout the process.
