What does the C$469.00 cover?+
It covers our professional fee, the Ontario government incorporation fee and the Ontario-enhanced NUANS name search report. A numbered corporation is C$429.00 because no name search is required.
Do I need to live in Ontario or Canada?+
No. Ontario removed its Canadian-resident director requirement, so non-residents can incorporate and be the sole director. You do need an Ontario registered office address — we can provide one as an add-on.
Named or numbered — which should I choose?+
Choose named if you're branding the corporation publicly. Choose numbered if you want speed and plan to operate under a separate business (trade) name later.
How fast is incorporation?+
Numbered corporations are typically the same business day. Named corporations are filed within one business day of the NUANS report clearing.
Is Ontario better than federal incorporation?+
Ontario is cheaper and simpler if you'll operate mainly in Ontario. Federal gives Canada-wide name protection but requires extra-provincial registration in each province — we offer that too.
