How it works

From name check to certificate.

A Canadian corporation set up the way the registry expects it — with none of the small print you'll trip on later.

  1. 01

    Name & jurisdiction

Pick federal or a province, tell us the name you want, and we pre-screen it against the NUANS and registry rules.

  2. 02

    Directors & head office

Add your directors and their country of residence, then choose the province your head office will be registered in.

  3. 03

    Filed with the registry

Bizvee prepares and submits your Articles of Incorporation. Standard filing is 5 business days, or 48 hours with fast track.

  4. 04

    Pack delivered

Certificate, articles, bylaws and registers land in your dashboard along with your bank and payment gateway setup guides.

Bank-ready from day one

Canadian banks start with your Certificate of Incorporation.

Approvals sit with each bank, but your incorporation pack is the first thing they'll ask for — and your free setup guide walks you through the rest.

FAQ

Answers before you file.

Not sure which jurisdiction fits? Reach out — a specialist reviews every case before we submit.

Federal or provincial — which should I choose?+

Federal incorporation gives you name protection across all of Canada and is the usual choice for companies operating in more than one province. Provincial incorporation is simpler and often cheaper if you only trade in one province. You select the jurisdiction at checkout.

Do I need to live in Canada?+

Not in most jurisdictions. Federal corporations require 25% of directors to be Canadian residents, but provinces like British Columbia, Alberta (via alternative structures), Ontario and others allow fully non-resident boards. Tell us your directors and we'll advise before filing.

How long does it take?+

Standard processing is 5 business days. Fast track files your incorporation within 48 hours for C$150.

Do I get a Canadian address?+

Every corporation needs a registered head office address in its jurisdiction. You can use your own, or add a Bizvee Canadian business address for C$150 per year at checkout.

Can you help open a bank account?+

Yes — a bank account setup guide and a payment gateway setup guide are included free with every incorporation. Approval always remains with the bank.

What happens after incorporation?+

You'll need a CRA business number, possibly GST/HST registration, and an annual return each year. Bizvee handles annual returns from C$99 and sends you reminders.
